Hi, I’m Kimberly Stacy Chacon — a California native now based in Georgia.
I’m a freelance sports and live-event photographer focused on capturing authentic, in-game moments filled with energy and emotion. My work centers on storytelling through movement — preserving the intensity of competition, the atmosphere of the crowd, and the defining plays that make each event unforgettable.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts with a Production emphasis from California State University, Chico, along with a minor in Broadcasting and Communication Design. Through my experience in live sports broadcasting environments, I developed hands-on skills in camera operation and live production, strengthening my ability to anticipate action and frame moments with precision.
While photography is my primary focus, I am actively pursuing opportunities in camera operation within live production environments. With a foundation in both photography and broadcast media, I approach every assignment with technical awareness, focus, and creative instinct.
